Today is a terrible, terrible day. 48 hours without electricity, what am I even supposed to do for all this time?
No computer, no radio, no internet, no intercepting the signals from the bugs I placed on my suspicious neighbourhood... Not to speak about the AC, this trailer will soon turn into a oven at this rate. Wait, now that I think about ovens... even the kitchen stove needs electricity to work! And the fridge too, does this means all my precious food is about to rotten?
"Timmy..."
"Was it you, Kitty?"
"Grrrrrrrrrrrr!"
Of course not... But what can it have been, then? Is Father Winter trying to play some other trick? Or is the Reaper back? Or was it the song of that dangerous mermaid I'm sure I once saw in Sulani?
Why is my life so weird that all these options seem to make perfect sense, by the way?
I checked all the house to find the source of the noise. Yet, it wasn't the funny plants in my bathroom...
"Timmy..."
Nor a new ability learnt by my beloved Betsy.
"It's not hard Betsy, just repeat with me. Tim-my, Tim-my. C'mon, now it's your turn!"
"Grrr!"
Uhm, I gueess not even this plant can talk, after all. Well, it's time to go to work, anyway. Who knows, I may even find some clues over there, it's a quite unpredictable environment after all.
"Timmy..."
"Hey guys, I'm just here to ask for some information! And then I also have to exorcise you, of course, but it looks like you're not liking here much anyway, isn't it?"
"Are you another ghost I'm supposed to exorcise?"
"What? Of course not, I'm the house owner!"
"What a relief, finally a well-behaved ghost... By the way, do you know of any spirit having fun calling random people by their name?"
But of course she didn't know anything about it.
"Timmy..."
Yet, I kept hearing it, that distant voice calling my name, sounding as if it was coming from another dimension. So I did my best to investigate the matter, I really did.
"Stop bothering us, we're trying to sleep here!"
But it was all in vain. Somehow, the invisible entity who kept bothering me wasn't a spirit, and so I had to return back home without a definitive answer.
The electricity wasn't back yet, it was so boring that in the end I decided to go to the parc and watch the clouds.
Even if I I suspect I've chosen the wrong day for it.
"Timmy..."
Bah, how boring... Even that voice calling my name sounded less and less convinced, all this weird story is probably becoming boring to them too.
Back home, I tried to work on assembling something. This place is so boring when the electricity is off, what else could I have done?
"TIMMY!"

Ehm, that last call sounded much louder, and also a bit mad. Is this really just an annoyance, or am I in truobles again?
